Course Outcome
Learners who successfully complete this course, will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the above unit of competency.
Course Overview
This course is designed to provide learners with the skills and
knowledge required to enter the rail corridor.
These include taking appropriate safety precautions to:
- access the danger zone
- access the rail corridor
- respond appropriately in an emergency
Duration
The course is conducted over 8 hours which includes a mixture of theory and practical. The theoretical components will be conducted face-to-face in the classroom and all practical elements will be demonstrated, practised and assessed in a simulated rail environment.
Location
Training is conducted at our Laverton training centre.
Entry Requirements
Learners must undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment to assist in determining suitability.
Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence or Passport must be presented as evidence of ID.
