Learners who successfully complete this course, will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the above unit of competency. – *Rail Network Operators have specific competency requirements to operate this type of machine on their infrastructure, additional training may be required.

Safely access the Rail Corridor
This course is designed to provide learners with the skills and
knowledge required to enter the rail corridor.
These include taking appropriate safety precautions to:
- Access the danger zone
- Access the rail corridor
- Respond appropriately in an emergency
The course is conducted over 8 hours which includes a mixture of theory and practical. The theoretical components will be conducted face-to-face in the classroom and all practical elements will be demonstrated, practised and assessed in a simulated rail environment.
Training is conducted at our Laverton training centre.
