Course Outcome

Overhead Travelling Cranes that are remote or pendant controlled and have no more than three functions do not require the operator to have certification. However, OH&S legislation requires employers to provide adequate and safe instruction to operators of this type of equipment, and thus an employer must not allow an employee to operate a crane without providing proper training.

The course is conducted over 5 hours and includes theory and practical.

Training Location

Training is conducted on the clients premises.

There are no entry requirements for this course, although participants should ideally be working in an environment with overhead cranes present.
